Summer Cups.
Summer Cup matches have started. Well done to the G6 Team on their win over Ballinlough. Hard luck to the G3 team who lost to Rushbrook in the super doubles! Other grades have yet to play their 1st round matches.

Tennis News from around Cork

Kinsale Open. Congratulations to Michel Kukucka and Will Bartley who won the Men's Grade 5 Doubles and to Therese Hurley and Tara Mukerjee who won the Ladies's Grade 5 Doubles. Well done to Michael and Therese who also teamed up in the Mixed Grade 5 event but lost the final.
Bishopstown Senior Open. The club was well represented at the first week long open tournament of the year. We had entries in all events from Grades 2 through 6. Congratulations to Michel Kukucka and Paraic Crehan who won the Men's Grade 4 Doubles title. Well done also to Catherine Mc Carthy and Niall Coonan who narrowly lost out in th Mixed Grade 5 Doubles title.
St Michael's Vets. St Michaels Tennis Club, Blackrock annual Veterns Tournament has just completed. Two Bandon pairings made it through to finals day with Tish Caniffe and Maggie O'Toole winning th Ladies Doubles and Freda and Billy Roycroft winning the Mixed Doubles Vintage. Billy narrowly lost in the Mens Doubles Final where he paired up with Donal Murray, Bishopstown.
Douglas Tennis Club. Michel Kukucka made it to the finals of the Grade 5 Singles. Well Done
Sundays Well Tennis Club. No Bandon players made it to finals day in Sundays Well. Click here to see draws and final results.
Argideen Vale Tennis Club. . Well done to all Bandon players who took park in Argideen Open. Congratulations and Best Wishes to Tara Mukerjee who as well as getting engaged won the Ladies Handicapped Singles Title. Congratulations to Eileen Mac Sweeney and Lisa Murray who won the Ladies Handicapped Doubles Title. Other Bandon finalists were Sean Frank and Shaun Hough.
